About us
The Lozzi Group traces its roots back to the 1930s, when publisher and printer Romolo Lozzi started the business.
“La Città Eterna” (already translated into five languages in 1935) and the “Stradario di Roma” of 1949 were the first publications that soon became very useful tools for tourists or those living and working in Rome. This was already the beginning of the style that was to characterise all of the Group’s publications: editions that represented a point of reference for knowledge of the territory and cultural heritage of Rome, Latium and later the whole of Italy.
Thanks to the sons and daughters, together with the contribution of the latest generations and partners, today the Group’s activity is embodied in the work of seven publishing houses, each specialising in a well-defined but complementary field of tourism and leisure publishing.
They specialise in the fields of tourist and archaeological guides (available in up to 25 different languages), hiking guides, maps and road atlases, calendars, postcards and multimedia products (DVD, ePub, Web).
